Find A Way

The business I’m in is tough. That said, there are levels of professional toughness that far exceed the work I’m in…an oil rigger is tough; physically taxing and long hours in hostile environments. Tough would also describe a lumberjack; working outdoors in a variety of weather elements. And perhaps the most tough job of all is the Alaskan Crab Fisherman; 24 hour shifts, bitter weather and a certain death if one falls over into the cold, dark sea.

When you think of Data Center & Cloud products and services, “tough” isn’t the word you think. At least not the tough as described above…the physically tough. Our tough is creating the resourcefulness to win. And to win in a hyper competitive landscape where it’s anyone’s game on any given day. It requires ingenuity, tenacity and an ability to create new ways to stay relevant in the eyes of our customers and future customers…being resourceful!

All the great people are resourceful. They use their resourcefulness to find paths to opportunities in every conversation they have – regardless of the audience. And when the opportunity is identified, they create a vision of how to solve the problem for their customer or prospect. Then they create a plan to execute. Roadblocks? They don’t exist. Leveraging networks, both internal and external, to break down any barriers and creating his/her own success is the recipe to winning. “Trying” is left for the underachievers and “finding a way” remains for the overachievers. It’s simple in thought and tough in execution.

Live every day the words of Henry David Thoreau, “what you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.”

Relentless. Forward. Progress.
